چکیده

An inference based method for modeling complex non linear systems is presented that integrates current approaches to mod eling of microwave devices within a gen eralized non linear framework Familiar techniques for characterizing and emulat ing linear and non linear systems are em bedded in an automated weighting mech anism so that globally complex behavior is approximated by a number of simple lo cal models The framework handles non Gaussianity non stationarity and disconti nuity It o ers meaningful parameters such as linear lter coe cients or Volterra ex pansion coe cients as well as detailed error estimates

Non-linear modeling, analysis, design and simulation of a solid state power amplifier based on GaN technology for Ku band microwave application

A new non-linear method for design and analysis of solid state power amplifiers is presented and applied to an aluminum gallium nitride, gallium nitride (AlGaN-GaN) high electron-mobility transistor (HEMTs) on silicon-carbide (SiC) substrate for Ku band (12.4 13.6 GHz) applications. With combining output power of 8 transistors, maximum output power of 46.3 dBm (42.6 W), PAE of 43% and linear ga...

A Calibrated Time Domain Envelope Measurement System for the Behavioral Modeling of Power Amplifiers

This paper presents a set-up which enables the generation and the calibrated time domain measurements of complex envelopes of modulated signals at both ports of non linear microwave power amplifiers. The architecture of the characterization tool is given. Examples of error corrected time domain envelopes at the input / output RF ports of a 36 dBm output power – 30dB power gain L-band SSPA are s...

Non-Linear Far Field RF Harvesting in Wireless Communications

A linear radio frequency (RF) harvesting model is commonly assumed in recent simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT) research, i.e., RF harvested power is assumed a scaled version of the input (received) power. However, rectifiers typically used in the microwave and radio frequency identification (RFID) industry are non-linear devices; thus, RF harvesting efficiency is not ...
